Fire-resistant cable trays have a frosted finish and are generally used in power distribution lines for firefighting equipment, including fire control rooms, fire pumps, fire elevators, smoke exhaust fans, and automatic fire alarm systems. Fire-resistant cables can be used for other power distribution lines, eliminating the need for fire-resistant cable trays.
Fire-resistant cable trays in underground garages require a fire resistance of at least one hour. In areas where fire protection is required, fire-resistant or flame-retardant panels or mesh can be added to trays and ladders to create closed or semi-closed structures.
Fire-resistant cable trays primarily consist of fireproof panels made of glass fiber reinforced material and inorganic adhesives, combined with a metal frame and other fire-resistant substrates. The outer layer is coated with a fire-retardant coating, preventing the fire from spreading. Fire-resistant cable trays offer excellent fire protection and are fire-resistant, oil-resistant, corrosion-resistant, non-toxic, and pollution-free. They are easy to install, structurally sound, and offer a long service life. They are also aesthetically pleasing. Cables installed in cable trays maintain a clean and tidy environment, making them easy to clean. Fire-retardant coatings offer thin coatings, high fire resistance, and strong adhesion.
Fire-resistant cable trays, with a matte finish, are typically used in fire protection equipment distribution lines, including fire control rooms, fire pumps, fire elevators, smoke exhaust fans, and automatic fire alarm systems. Except for the automatic fire alarm system, other distribution lines can use fire-resistant cables without the need for fire-resistant cable trays.
